A Comparative Study of Multiple Intelligences in Different Ages

Abstract
This research is a comparative study of multiple intelligences in different ages. It was implemented on 400 high school students to investigate the significance of Multiple Intelligences in different ages. Arak city, the capital of Markazi province has been used for this study. Totally in Arak city 62078 students study in different high schools. 28111 are female and 29737 are male. Hajkazemi male gifted high, Haj Taghavi Nejad female gifted high school, Shokrai male public high school and Tarbiat female public high school were chosen randomly. Half of the subjects are female and the other half are male, the subjects also are in second and third grade, so two groups of subjects chosen for this study are 16 and 17 years old. The instruments used were the Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scales (MIDAS), a commercially designed instrument which was designed by Shearer in 1996. The results show MI between different grades (different ages) is significantly different.
