Alergia na roztocza magazynowe w świetle badań retrospektywnych porównujących populacje „ogólną” z eksponowaną zawodowo cz.1

Abstract
In this study, comparison has been made between the population exposed to store mites, consisting of workers of bakery and confectionery industries, belonging to comparable sex and age groups, and the population of patients from Allergy Outpatient Clinic for Adults of IOMEH (Institute of Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health), characterized by proven hypersensitivity to mites. In order to determine the statistical differences between the value of instances of cases, Z test for proportions was applied. A statistically significantly increased frequency of incidence (p<0.001) of positive skin prick test has been discovered among people exposed to antigens of these types of mites at work. It turned out that in general population, there were relatively few people sensitive to the following types: Acarus siro, Lepidoglyphus destructor; Tyrophagus putrescentiae, with sensitivity occurrence rates of 11.7%; 10.6%; 8.8%, respectively. Attention has been paid to the results of studies published so far, and devoted to the occurrence of mite species among the populations from various parts of the world, paying special attention to urban environments, and comparing them with rural environments. W przedstawionej niżej publikacji porównano populację narażonych na roztocza przechowalniane utworzoną przez pracowników przemysłu piekarniczego i ciastkarskiego z populacją „ogólną” pacjentów Poradni Alergologicznej dla Dorosłych IMPiZŚ (Instytutu Medycyny Pracy i Zdrowia Środowiskowego) z dowiedzioną nadwrażliwością na roztocza (Tab. nr III). W celu ustalenia różnic statystycznych pomiędzy wartościami wystąpień przypadków zastosowano test Z proporcji. Wykryto istotnie zwiększoną częstość występowania (p < 0,001) dodatnich punktowych testów skórnych wśród ludzi zawodowo eksponowanych na antygeny tych gatunków roztoczy. Okazało się bowiem, że w „ogólnej” populacji pacjentów wśród uczulonych na rodzaje: Acarus siro, Lepidoglyphus destructor, Tyrophagus putrescentiae znajduje się kolejno zaledwie: 11,7%; 10,6%; 8,8% badanych. Zwrócono uwagę na wyniki opublikowanych dotąd prac poświęconych występowaniu gatunków roztoczy wśród populacji z różnych stron świata ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem środowisk miejskich i ich porównań ze środowiskiem wiejskim. Zasugerowano potrzebę równoległych badań środowiskowych akarofauny z badaniami molekularnymi dla poprawnej diagnostyki i m.in. wyjaśnienia przyczyn mogących występować reakcji krzyżowych wśród pacjentów.
