CHARACTERISTICS AND METHODS OF COMPULSORY STATE SOCIAL INSURANCE OF EMPLOYEES

Abstract

Introduction. At an estimated the International Labour Organisation, in the agricultural production engaged 1.3 billion. workers - roughly 50% of the global workforce. 335 thousand of these each year perish on production, not less than 170 thousand is agricultural workers. According to statistics, in Ukraine every day on production injured about a hundred people, of whom 10% become invalids and nearly 2% perished. According to the National Research Institute for Labour Protection, the state of occupational injuries in Ukraine over the past decade characterized by a decrease the number of cases both general and fatal injuries. Dynamics against Accidents is related, of course, the economic situation in Ukraine. During the years of economic crisis, GDP fell by 59.2%, industrial production - by 48.9%, agricultural production - by 51.5%. In this period indicated a substantial decline in total and fatal injuries. Methods. Methods based on general principles and fundamental provisions of the economic theory, philosophy and social science statistics. Results. The analysis revealed the need for a comprehensive statistical evaluation of the status and trends of state social insurance, defines a set of social monitoring as a tool to support management decisions. Discussion. The gradual stabilization of the economic situation in Ukraine may be accompanied by the increasing number of cases of fatal accidents. The distribution fatal accidents by industry production shows that the highest growth rates of injury allowed the chemical industry (+25), engineering (+9) construction (+12), agriculture (+8), transport (+19) in non-production field (+31).
