CREDIT RATING OF TERRITORIAL COMMUNITY OF THE CITY (MUNICIPALITIES): LEGAL ASPECTS

Abstract
The article contains a theoretical study of the credit rating of the territorial communities of the city (municipalities) in Ukraine as a legal institution, establishes the legal principles for credit rating of the territorial communities of the city and the entities of the municipal sector of the economy, the dependence of their credit ratings on the sovereign credit rating of the state. The range of subjects, which are engaged in the establishment of the credit rating of the municipality, in particular, international rating agencies and authorized rating agencies − residents of Ukraine, has been clarified. The procedure for the legislative requirements for the credit rating of the municipality has been ascertained and the changes to the legislation, aimed at improving this legal institution have been proposed.
