Danzig als ‚verlorene Heimat‘ und umstrittener Erinnerungsort in der Zeitschrift „UNSER DANZIG“

Abstract
This article presents a political profile of the journal Unser Danzig, published between 1949 and 2008 by the Bund der Danziger. This organization consisted of Germans who were forced to leave their ‚local homeland‘ in 1945. The political narrative of the journal is dominated by the difficult and controversial subject of the flight and expulsion of the German civilian population in the years 1945‒1949. The article concentrates on the topoi that are typical for this subject and that constitute argumentative models, which the politically committed and expelled authors implement in their texts. The article also indicates the evolution of several topoi over a period of nearly sixty years.
