DYNAMICS OF THE TOPONYMIC CONCEPT OF UKRAINE (ACCORDING TO LEXICOGRAPHIC SOURCES AND THE RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH)

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of verbal presenters of the concept UKRAINE in etymological, lexicographic and semantic aspects. An overview of the main concepts of the origin of the word «Ukraine» and traced its presentation in the dictionaries of the Ukrainian language. The linguistic experiment was conducted in three stages (2002-2016) in order to trace the dynamics of the concept of UKRAINE in the minds of the Ukrainian language media. The associations, received on verbal stimuli «Ukraine», «emblem of Ukraine», «the flag of Ukraine» are analyzed, which have a symbolic load and are components of the concept UKRAINE.
