UKRAINIAN LITERARY PERFORMANCE

Abstract
The article discusses and analyzes the main principals of such a kind of visual art as performance. The purpose of the article was to explore the features of formation and development of the Ukrainian literary performance. To achieve the goal a number of techniques of methodology were used, such as a retrospective (for the analysis of historical and cultural factors of the creation of the literary performance), philological commentary (to determine the author’s version of a literary performance) and historical and typological one, the usage of which made it possible to follow the basic characteristic features of the development of the of the contemporary performance. Results. We can observe the development and improvement of the techniques of the Literary performance. Together with the progress of the computer technology the form of art in question goes far beyond the theatrical play or the author’s recitation of texts with musical accompaniment. The Ukrainian literary performance gradually finds its significant features. The main characteristic features are the author’s participation, the use of visual projection and music (the musicians are present on stage), also not only the author and musicians can take part in the performance but a dancer or dancers.
