FORMATION OF THE CONTINENTAL SYSTEM OF EUROPEAN LAW BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE OLD ATHENS AND THE SPARTA

Abstract
The article deals analisis of athenian democratic state legal system has created a republican political system broken down into three branches: the National Assembly (Parliament, the legislative body of government), Council of 500 – the government (executive), Areopagus – exercised judicial functions and Gelieya (jury). Law of Athens created a culture, including political, became the school of democracy for future generations.
