INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC POLISH-UKRAINIAN PROJECT OF POST-TOTALITARIAN STUDIES „UKRAINE-POLAND-EUROPE”

Abstract

In this article we aimed to introduce the projects of post-totalitarian studies „Ukraine-Poland-Europe” as an integral phenomenon and as an international scientific laboratory for the study of the various consequences of the totalitarian regime manifested at different levels of consciousness and culture, in different literary and cultural discourses. Methodology. We used the method of analytical description, comparative analysis (especially when the focus of our attention was the phenomenon of the Polish and Ukrainian literature as well as the south-east, east, west Slavic Cultures), and hermeneutical analysis as the basis of our observations were patterns of similarities from particular to general and vice versa. Purpose. The article is intended for experts and researchers of the post-totalitarian consciousness and of its demonstration in various discursive practices, for teachers of liberal arts colleges such as philologists, culture experts, anthropologists. Also it is for students, and anyone interested in modern interdisciplinary events. Considering some scientists’ research work, the authors of the article come to the common conclusion about the formation of new approaches to interdisciplinary projects that cover the problems and perspectives of cultural studies, art literature, social communication, gender studios, studying drama and theater (movies).
