Abstract

Logical Thinking of Children Aged 9–10 Years — Research Announcement The article is an attempt to answer the question of whether children ending the stage of early childhood education are able to think logically? The question was raised, because a 9–10 year old pupil completes integrated education and starts subject learning; in this case logical thinking is a necessary skill to ensure the troubleless change. The authors have developed their own task set which has been used to study the level of logical thinking of children at schools of the Silesian voivodeship. The results of these studies are presented in the following part of the article.
