PRINCIPLE OF ECONOMY OF CRIMINAL-LEGAL REPRESSION: TO DEFINING CONCEPT

Abstract
The article examines the current state of scientific research into the principle of economy of criminal law repression. It reviews the main approaches to defining this principle, its subject, and content. The article emphasizes a need for further development of a doctrine to determine both the place of the principle of economy of criminal law repression in the system of criminal law principles and its significance of forming and implementing the criminal legal policy of the state.
