ПСИХОЛОГІЧНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ПЕРЕЖИВАННЯ МОЛОДШИМИ ШКОЛЯРАМИ РОЗЛУЧЕННЯ БАТЬКІВ

Abstract

Divorce is always a crisis that affects all family system and is hard to experience not only by spouses but also children. If offsprings remain under unfavorable circumstances of the divorced family for a long time, it may cause the profound changes in their behavior. The obtained empirical data demonstrated that primary school pupils who experience the divorce of their parents are more aggressive, unsociable, touchy, impressionable, anxious, melancholy than children from full families, they also need to be close to the meaningful people, they are observed to have decreasing of volitional activity, sleep disorders and behavioral problems. The surveys of parents and class leaders also showed that divorce affects negatively child's personality, that can experience the sense of stability loss of surrounding world, and the constant need to be close to a significant person is a manifestation of an acute aspiration for renovating this feeling inside themselves. The information given above proves the necessity of professional work - a school psychologist, a social tutor, and a psychotherapist in some cases, the expediency of psychological consultations in the form of individual conversations with members of the divorced family, thematic psychologist speeches at the parent's meetings, etc.
