REFLEXIONES EN TORNO A LA INCLUSIÓN EDUCATIVA Y LAS PRÁCTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS EN LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR

Abstract
This paper presents reflections on inclusive teaching and pedagogical practices in higher education, based on an exploratory process carried out in Ecuadorian universities, which was complemented by an extensive epistemological analysis. From a critical-reflexive study, it is revealed that some policies, cultures and practices of inclusive teaching dynamize the processes of professional formation in the university environment from a rationalist-deductivist approach. For that matter, it was resorted to the induction, deduction and synthesis as main methods. It is concluded that, in Ecuadorian higher education, limited work has been done on inclusive teaching and that in pedagogical practices there is evidence of invisibilization of diversity since the educational process is usually carried out in the application of highly homogenizing activities, methods, techniques and instruments. That is, there is the presence of exclusion to diversity in institutions that should be inclusive.
