СЕМАНТИЧНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ НАЗВ ЖІНОЧИХ ГОЛОВНИХ УБОРІВ У ГОВІРКАХ ПІДГАЄЧЧИНИ ТЕРНОПІЛЬСЬКОЇ ОБЛАСТІ

Abstract
У статті досліджено назви жіночих головних уборів, що побутують на Підгаєччині. Наводяться пояснення говіркових назв з погляду семантики, етимології. Визначено лексико-семантичні паралелі з іншими українськими діалектними континуумами. The article analyses the names of head-dresses that prevail on the territory of Pidhaytsi region of Ternopil oblast. Pidhaytsi subdialects are the central part of Naddnistriansk dialect and to some extent represent peculiarities of subdialects of Naddnistriansk dialect of south-western parlance. Pidhaytsi region is located in the western part of Ternopil oblast. The area of Pidhaytsi region borders on Terebovlia, Buchach, Monastyrysk, Berezhany and Kozova regions of Ternopil oblast and Halych region of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Today many thematic groups of Ukrainian subdialects, large subdialectic areas are not investigated. To the areas that are not studied enough belong Pidhaytsi subdialects that enrich the Ukrainian language with their lexical items. Lexical units of a subdialect are nomens that are used in other Ukrainian dialects having the same meaning. A lot of them are nationwide and normative but many of them are characterized by a number of peculiarities. Each name that is recorded on the territory of Pidhaytsi region is characterized according to particular parameters. The semantics of a lexical item is found out, the list of settlements in subdialects of which nomination is testified is given, documentation in nontechnical and specialized dictionaries is indicated, lexical-semantic parallels in other subdialects of the Ukrainian language and in other languages are distinguished, the origin of a lexical item is determined. The names of women’s head-dresses in Pidhaytsi region subdialects are non-uniform according to their distribution. Among them can be distinguished local dialects that are not found anywhere except some settlements in Pidhaytsi region («barabolienka» – kerchief, «nakydanka» – kerchief, «korolivska khustyna» – big white kerchief, «kutsivka» – winter kerchief, «kazmyrova khustyna» – big winter kerchief). A number of Pidhaytsi names of women’s head-dresses have lexical-semantic parallels in other subdialects of the Ukrainian language. The area of prevalence of the names of women’s head-dresses in the vocabulary of Pidhaytsi subdialects is marked on the map. The location of the studied vocabulary allows separating some groups into microareas: western, north-western and eastern. These groups of subdialects are not isolated local formations, boundaries between them are not indistinct, each combination is spreading on the territory of neighboring zones or microareas of specific peculiarities are distinguished. The characteristic feature of the everyday vocabulary of Pidhaytsi region is its close relation to one of the most flexible elements of the material culture that makes it dynamic and unstable. For this reason active process of development, enrichment of the group of clothes names is not decreasing up to now.
