Some topical issues of exercising the right of intellectual property in the system of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

Abstract
The article covers the basic tendencies of legal ensuring creation, protection and transfer of objects of intellectual property in the system of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The importance of developing an economic strategy which has to be based on the principles of economic modernization, on innovative scientific and technical research, on their integration with the production as a united process of developing science, on technology and production is substantiated. The issues of comprehensive improvement of legal protection of intellectual activities, the proper protection of its results, the activity of relevant structures in the system of the NAS of Ukraine are analyzed. The article also covers historical digression of legislation concerning activities of scientific institutions of the NAS of Ukraine in the field of patenting and licensing.
