THE ROLE OF COMPLEX NUMBERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MENTAL DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS

Abstract
In the proposed article, we analyze simpler methods for determining the arguments of complex numbers. At the same time, on the basis of certain experiments on high school students, the influence of this issue on the mental development of students, as well as ways of eliminating the difficulties arising in the students’ finding of the argument and the influence of the studied concept on the mental development of students, are explored. As a result of the analysis carried out, it became clear that the definition of the argument of complex numbers by the students ultimately contributes to their deeper awareness.
