THE SURNAMES OF NOVOVOLYNSK CITIZENS (VOLYN REGION) WITH SUFFIXES -YN / -IN (-YIN)

Abstract
There were systematized and analyzed the surnames of Novovolynsk citizens with the suffixes -yn / -in (-yin). Lexical-semantic and derivational analysis of revealed onymis were also made. It was ascertained that these anthroponyms were coined from men and women names. They were connected with different thematic layers of commonplace vocabulary. These antroponyms also characterized carriers for their physical and mental traits and peculiarities of behavior, social status. They reflect citizens’ contacts with representatives of other ethnic groups.
